Is this a finished painting or a kit?
It is a kit you complete yourself. Your photo becomes a canvas with printed circles. You fill them with the included markers to create the finished dot painting.
Do I need painting or drawing experience?
No drawing is needed: the circles show you where to dot. Start with a small area and work at a pace that feels comfortable. Larger canvases contain more dots and take longer.
How do I know my photo will work?
Start with a sharp, well-lit photo where the important faces or details are easy to see. In the free studio, adjust your crop and inspect your dot preview. If those details are unclear, try a closer crop, a larger size or another photo.
Which size should I choose?
It depends on the crop and how large the subjects appear. Group photos and small faces generally need a larger canvas. Use the studio’s size guidance, then check the actual dot preview before approving your choice.
